The Report on Carcinogens: What Went Wrong and What Can Be Done to Fix It

Regulatory Checkbook President Richard B. Belzer recently published a monograph analyzing the National Toxicology Program's biennial Report on Carcinogens. The monograph shows why the RoC, as it is called, has failed to live up to its congressionally intended purpose. 

Reforms are proposed that, if enacted, would restore science to its intended role. Without such reforms, the RoC will continue to misinform public and private decision-making.
